Alan Creel lives in Carrollton, Texas, and is a retired mechanical designer and programmer with many years in manufacturing and engineering process automation. He enjoyed his time as a volunteer tutor, mentor, and coach at public STEM schools. He believes strongly in knowing our history and remembering our ancestors.

This was the view above Telluride during our 2019 visit—on the Jud Wiebe Trail very near to Cornet Canyon. So sorry to crop out my hiking companion. Our timing was perfect to coincide with the most vivid fall color in the beautiful San Miguel River canyon.
